Crowder to offer financial aid workshops in area communities

(From Crowder College)

The Crowder College Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) will be offering Financial Aid workshops to assist in completing a FAFSA (Free Application Federal Student Aid) earlier. New regulations allow FAFSA submission starting October 1 for the 2017-18 academic year. Applicants will use their 2015 Income Tax Return when filing.

The workshops will take place October 3 – November 3, at various locations throughout the area.

The FAFSA workshops are designed to assist anyone planning to attend college or technical school. High School seniors and parents, adults planning to enter college or technical training or return to college, and those individuals who are nearing completion of the GED/HSE are encouraged to attend.

The Educational Opportunity Center is a federally funded program serving anyone age 19 or older who would like to attend a college or technical school. EOC provides support through the application process, informational workshops, career assessment and more.
