Four Joplin residents, including 5, 7-year-olds injured in accident on McClelland

Four Joplin residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 3 p.m. today on McClelland Boulevard, one mile west of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Saturn SC1 driven by Charles Collins, 33, Joplin, ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Collins and two passengers, Charles Collins, 5, and Zoey Collins, 7, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin. Another passenger, Christopher A. George, 39, Joplin, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West.
