Crowder College weekly update

Athletics
·         The Roughrider Soccer team is now 14-3 on the season after defeating Maple Woods, 2-0 in the 1st round of the Region 16 tournament. The win gives the Roughriders home field advantage on Tuesday, Oct 25, 2pm vs MCC-Blue River. Sport your Crowder Blue and cheer on the team. ·         Coach Tina Robbins Basketball Coaches Breakfast Friday, Oct. 21, 7:30am in Newton Hall Conference Room. She will discuss what to look forward to in the upcoming season. Campus Events
·         International Market, October 25, 11am-2pm in the Student Center on the Neosho campus. International students will prepare foods and art from their countries. ·         Campus Life will serve free hotdogs, chips and drinks to everyone who comes to the soccer match wearing Crowder Blue. Game starts at 2pm, Tuesday, Oct. 25.
·         Campus Life will sponsor a Presidential Mock Election and Homecoming King & Queen Election on the Neosho campus Wed./Thurs., Oct. 26-27, Wright Conference Center from 10am-3pm. Both elections are open to students. Faculty & staff may vote in the Mock Presidential Election.
·         Campus Life will sponsor a Homecoming Dance Thursday, Oct. 27, 8pm-midnight, Wright Conference Center. The event is for Crowder College students. For more information email: CampusLife@Crowder.edu

Community Events
·         Art Exhibit by Michael Knutson & Brian Kennedy McCallum, Oct 4-28, in the Longwell Museum, 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday, with an artist reception Friday, Oct. 28 at noon. For more information go to: longwellmuseum.com

·         Book Talk Tuesday, Nov. 29, 6:30pm in Longwell Museum located inside the Elsie Plaster –The Good Lieutenant by Whitney Terrell.
