TRAFFIC ALERT
Route U CLOSED in McDonald County at Mike's Creek Week of October 31
Where: Route U in McDonald County at the low water crossing over Mike’s Creek three miles south of Missouri Route 76 between Layton Hollow Road and Thomas Hollow Road
When: 7:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31 to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4
What: Route U CLOSED to allow MoDOT crews to replace the culvert underneath the road at the low water crossing
Traffic Impacts: Drivers will need to find an alternate route around the closing. Drivers will be able to get to driveways and other entrances on either side of the closing. However, they will NOT be able to travel through the work zone. Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the closing. Weather and/or work scheduling conflicts could postpone the project.
