Early this morning we received a call regarding a reckless driver speeding northbound on I-49.
The caller believed the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated because it was swerving in and out of lanes and driving excessively over the speed limit. The vehicle also appeared to have been in a wreck and was dragging parts under it.
A deputy located the vehicle and got it stopped. The driver was highly intoxicated.
We appreciate it when folks call these types of things in. When you see something, say something. Don’t convince yourself that someone else will do it. It may save a life.
