Lack of license plates leads to Jasper Police arrest of Galena women on drug charges

Possession of Meth-Related Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

On Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at 1:09 pm, a Jasper PD officer stopped a black 2001 Ford truck with no license plates visible, near the intersection of Mercer and 6th St., Jasper, Missouri.

Contact was made with the driver, Kelsey Williams of Galena, Mo, and the front passenger, Brittany Kearney, also of Galena, Mo. Williams and Kearney both appeared overly nervous for a traffic stop.

Williams admitted there was marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted. Marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and a glass methamphetamine pipe was found.

Williams was charged with poss. of marijuana and possession of meth related drug paraphernalia. She also received several traffic citations.

Kearney was charged with possession of meth related drug paraphernalia.

Note: Kearney and Williams are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
