Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident 11:10 a.m. today on MO 43, one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Impala driven by Earl R. Budd, 80, Joplin, made a left turn into the path of a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Charlene M. Anderson, 60, Seneca. The collision forced the Budd vehicle off the roadway and into a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Delmer R. Daniels, 82, Joplin, which was stopped in traffic.
Budd was treated for moderate injuries and Anderson for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
