...Heavy rain may lead to flooding Monday night into Tuesday...

.Significant moisture return will occur ahead of the next storm
system. Showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are expected
ahead of a cold front on Monday night into Tuesday across much of
southwest and south central Missouri, mainly along and south of
the Interstate 44 corridor. Two to three inches of rain is
expected from Monday night into Tuesday. Heavier bands of embedded
rainfall will likely occur where some localized higher amounts
will be possible. This will likely lead to some flooding across
the watch area.
