Carl Junction, Goodman residents injured in collision west of Newtonia

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 9:13 a.m. on MO 86 two miles west of Newtonia.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 GMC Acadia driven by a 22-year-old Goodman man traveled left of center and collided with a 2006 Toyota Tundra driven by 33-year-old Carl Junction man.

The Goodman man was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

The Carl Junction man and a passenger in his vehicle, a 36-year-old Andover, Kansas woman, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
