Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 3:15 p.m. Friday on Jackpine Road one mile west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Ford F150 driven by a 17-year-old Carthage girl failed to yield to a 1993 GMC Sierra driven by a 58-year-old Webb City man at a stop sign and pulled into its path.
The Carthage girl and a passenger in the Webb City man's vehicle, a 60-year-old Joplin man, were treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
