(From Southern News Service)

The student-perspective during the COVID-19 pandemic highlights the latest edition of “Newsmakers” on KGCS-TV.

Three MSSU students - Emma Willerton, Zach Dobbs and Shea Schrader – recently visited via Zoom with Judy Stiles, host and KGCS general manager, to talk about how their educational experience has been impacted since the university made the decision to finish the semester online.

The show is part of the nightly rotation on KGCS-TV - and is currently posted on the station’s YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/w_t8WF_qG00, as well as the university’s website: www.mssu.edu.

KGCS programming can be seen on channel 21. It is also available on regional cable television systems such as Sparklight, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
