Amber Alert issued for two-year-old Carthage girl, kidnapper described as armed, threatening child

 

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been canceled. The child is safe and the suspect is in custody.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert moments ago for two-year-old Brexlee Greenlee, Carthage.

According to the alert, Brenlee was last seen with Chelsea Nicole Greenlee, 27, who is described as black, five feet, eleven inches tall, 135 pounds with red and purple hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black Kansas Jayhawks shirt.

The alert said Chelsea Greenlee was driving a black 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, license number LE5FSG.

The child was abducted from 1927 Main, Carthage, at 9:32 this morning.

The vehicle was last seen on MO 249, southbound from Webb City.

Chelsea Greenlee is believed to be armed and threatening the child.
