TRAFFIC ALERT: Nighttime lane reductions, delays on eastbound I-44 at Exit 8 in Joplin Oct. 20 & 21

What: Eastbound I-44 traffic reduced to one eastbound lane at either end of bridge over Range Line Road (Loop 49) at Exit 8 in Joplin for pavement repair

When: 9 p.m.-6 a.m., Tuesday & Wednesday, October 20 & 21

Traffic Impacts

-I-44 reduced to one eastbound lane at either end of bridge over Range Line Road (Loop 49) at Exit 8

-All ramps at Exit 8 will remain OPEN

-All lanes OPEN to traffic during daytime hours

-Speed limit reduced to 60 mph through work zone

-No signed detour

-Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone

-Drivers should look for alternate route

(Weather and/or construction delays will alter the schedule)
