A Joplin teen was injured in a two-vehicle collision 1 p.m. Friday on MO 66 at Black Cat Road, a half mile west of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Keith A. Stephenson II, 18, Joplin, driving a 2015 Hyundai Elantra, was racing another vehicle when a 2017 Dodge Ram driven by Janice C. Miller, 71, Theodosia, entered the roadway and was struck by the Stephenson vehicle.
Stephenson was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
