(From the Carl Junction Police Department)We have been made aware that our phone number 417-649-7070 has been used in a spoofing scam and scammers are telling those that they call that they have warrants and need to appear in court tomorrow.
THIS IS A SCAM. We will never call you for these reasons. If you receive a call from our number and are not sure if it’s truly us please feel free to call us and verify with dispatch that it was a scam.
