MSSU campus food pantry to be featured on "Newsmakers" program

(From Southern News Service)

The Lion Co-op, Missouri Southern State University’s campus food pantry, is the focus of the next edition of “Newsmakers” on KGCS-TV.

Dr. Andrea Cullers, associate professor of kinesiology and co-director of the co-op, sits down with Judy Stiles, host and KGCS general manager – to discuss how the program operates and the services it provides for students, both who need assistance or are interested in experiential learning.

The show will air in the evenings at 5:30 p.m. the week of October 18, and on Saturday morning (Oct. 24) at 5:30 a.m. on KOAM-TV. It’s also posted on the station’s YouTube channel - KGCS Missouri Southern.

KGCS programing can be seen on channel 21, and is also available on regional cable television systems such as Sparklight, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
