We have full time openings for the following positions:
Patrol Deputy, Detention Deputy, and for a Warrants Deputy.
The Warrant Deputy position is responsible for entering and removing County issues warrants, missing people and property into the Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement database.
Full time employees will receive vacation time off, paid holidays, insurance, uniforms and equipment provided, and are eligible to apply for either of the two police academy scholarships we offer.

Interested applicants please go to our webpage, www.jaspercountysheriff.org/ to print off one of our official applications. The applications is a bit lengthy but we need that information to aide us in our background investigations.
When you are completed with the application it can be delivered to the Sheriff’s Office, 231 South Main Street in Carthage, during business hours.
If it is after business hours it can be dropped off at the jail, 405 East 5th Street in Carthage. The application can also be mailed to either address if you wish.
