A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:20 a.m. Sunday on MO 171, three miles west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Kia Optima driven by Braylee E. Vasquez, 27, Carthage, struck a deer in the roadway.
Vasquez was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
