A Seneca man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:47 p.m. Wednesday on Coyote Drive three miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, driver unknown, ran off the roadway and struck a fence.
The driver fled the scene on foot.
A passenger, Gary R. Williford, 48, Seneca, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
