A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:50 p.m. Tuesday on I-49 south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Kia Forte driven by William K. Foster, 37, Carthage, ran off the right side of the road and struck a guard rail.
Foster was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
