08/08/2023 Officer took a report of vandalism at North Truman Dam. Investigation continues.
08/14/2023 Officer was dispatched to the city park regarding vandalism to bathrooms. Investigation continues.
08/14/2023 Officer was dispatched to contact a subject at Lamar Travel Plaza regarding an incident of road rage. Investigation continues.
08/14/2023 Officer took a call in reference to forgery. Investigation continues.
08/14/2023 Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of E. 6th Street for physical domestic in progress. One person was arrested and placed on a 24 hr hold for Domestic Assault 4th Degree.
08/15/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of E. 7th St in reference to a burglary. Investigation continues.
08/15/2023 Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Truman to a possible past tense burglary. Investigation continues.
08/16/2023 Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at Walmart. No charges were filed.
08/17/2023 Officer took a report of theft of City of Lamar utilities in the 800 block of Poplar. Investigation continues.
08/18/2023 Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to an abandoned trailer. Trailer was towed from the property.
08/19/2023 Officer was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office to take a report of an assault that had just occurred at another location. One person was arrested for Domestic Assault 2nd Degree and placed on a 24 hour hold. Paperwork was sent to the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney for consideration of charges.
8/20/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Truman in reference to a burglary not in progress. Investigation continues.
8/20/2023 Officer responded to the 100 block of W. 5th St. A person had walked into their home and into one of the bedrooms. Investigation continues.
