City of Neosho issues boil advisory

The City of Neosho has issued a precautionary boil advisory for customers in the following areas after an unexpected drop in water levels and pressure within part of the system:

• Ravenhurst Subdivision, including Rosewood Drive
• Daugherty Road, East of Sally Ann Ave
• Cedar Ridge Drive
• Southern Drive
• Bambi Drive
• Fawn Drive
• Cemetery Road (north side of Highway 60)

Some residents in these areas may have experienced low water pressure.

While contamination is highly unlikely, this advisory is being issued as a precaution to keep residents safe. 

The Public Works Department is conducting water sampling tests, and results are expected within the next 24 hours. We will lift the advisory as soon as testing confirms the water is safe
