(From the McDonald County Sheriff's Office)The McDonald County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the following information regarding a stolen vehicle investigation.
On December 19, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a possible stolen vehicle from the Anderson area. At that time, the reporting party was not the registered owner and was unable to formally report the vehicle as stolen.
On December 22, 2025, detectives with the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office identified the vehicle as stolen and began actively searching for it. After reviewing multiple calls for service received over the weekend in the Grasshopper Road area, detectives responded to that location.
While on Grasshopper Road, detectives located a white passenger vehicle matching the description. Vehicle information was provided to the McDonald County Dispatch Center, which confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen.
Following confirmation, detectives contacted nearby residences in the area and obtained information identifying a possible suspect.
The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
