A Lockwood man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:55 p.m. Sunday on I-44 at Halltown.
According to the Highway Patrol arrest, a 2013 Kia Forte driven by a 20-year-old Lockwood man failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the roadway and struck a rock bluff.
The driver was flown to Mercy Springfield with serious injuries.
