Two Jasper residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 5 p.m. Sunday on MO 96 two and a half miles east of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a turkey flew into the front windshield of a 2000 Ford F150 driven by a 28-year-old Jasper man and shattered it.
The driver was treated for moderate injuries and a passenger, a 29-year-old Jasper woman for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
