The Webb City R-7 Schools, in cooperation with the Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation, is proud and excited to announce the inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame Class.
With over 100 years of athletic competition, the school has been represented by many outstanding athletes, coaches and teams. The first class featuring eighteen (18) individuals and three (3) State Championship teams will be formally inducted during a dinner on Saturday October 1, 2016.
This event, which will conclude the homecoming/alumni weekend events, will be held at the Indigo Sky Casino banquet room. A social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., with dinner served at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are required and can be purchased at the Webb City R-7 Administrative office, located at 411 N Madison, Webb City, MO. Price of the ticket is $50 and seating is limited.
The Webb City Chamber of Commerce has various activities for the students and community as a part of their Paint the Town Red Week. A Homecoming Parade will be held on Thursday, September 29th on Main Street, ending with a Community Bonfire near the Webb City Middle School facility.
The Webb City Cardinals will entertain the Ozark Tigers on Friday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm. The homecoming queen will be crowned prior to the game.
Alumni events on Saturday will include a private event held at RSVPaint in Joplin. This will be from 1-3 pm on Saturday, October 1st with a special canvas painting designed specifically for Webb City Cardinals. Tickets are available for $35 per person and can be purchased at the Webb City R-7 Administration Office.

The individuals and teams were chosen by a selection committee composed of district and high school administrators, district staff, coaches and retired administrators. The Athletic Hall of Fame was established to commemorate a legacy of exceptional athletic performance and accomplishments, and will provide a program to pay tribute to those individuals and teams who have shaped Webb City’s athletic history.
