Frank Fletcher Toyota to present $2,000 check for Children's Department of Joplin Public Library

The Children’s Department of Joplin Public Library will accept a $2,000 Sponsorship donation from Frank Fletcher Toyota on Thursday, September 22. The event is taking place at 2:30 p.m. and will be held in the Children’s section of the Library.

This sponsorship will assist in providing quality literature to families who attend the monthly “Explore and Play!” sessions at the library. These sessions are designed for families with children ages 1 to 5 years to promote early literacy skills through opportunities for hands-on learning.

Studies show that the strongest predictor of how much education a child will achieve is determined by how many books are in the home. This further translates to more earnings over their lifetime.

The commitment of Toyota to support Early Literacy and Family Learning provides a natural partnership with Joplin Public Library. Frank Fletcher is pleased to sponsor “Explore & Play!” at Joplin Public Library and encourages other businesses to help promote education through providing sponsorship.
