A Carl Junction man and a Stotts City man were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:46 p.m. today on Lone Elm Road, one mile northwest of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Melvin J. Dalon, 39, Stotts City, was stopped in the roadway to make a left turn. A 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Francisco A. Gallegos, 24, Carl Junction, failed to stop and hit the Dalon vehicle in the rear.
Gallegos was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Dalon sought his own treatment for minor injuries.
