Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 6:51 p.m. Monday on Lone Elm Road, three miles north of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1996 Honda Accord driven by Joy M. Vanhoos, 18, Carterville, failed to stop and struck a 2003 Nissan Sentra driven by Devin A. Tanner, 32, Joplin, in the intersection.
Vanhoos and Tanner were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
