Our spotlight officer of the week is Sgt. Luke Stahl.
Sgt. Stahl has been with the Joplin Police Department since 2010. Since starting with the Joplin Police Department Sgt. Stahl has served in patrol, investigations, SWAT, internal affairs, and is currently assigned as a Detective Sergeant in the investigation’s bureau.
Sgt. Stahl holds a bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina-Charlotte in Criminal Justice.
Sgt. Stahl when asked what he wanted the community to know about his job stated “I take extreme pride in the work I have done on children’s behalf. I continually work hard to make myself and the investigations bureau better at investigating and bringing to justice those who would harm our community youth."
In his off-time Sgt. Stahl enjoys spending time with his family and participating in triathlons. Thank you, Sgt. Stahl, for sharing with us.
