Crowder College dual enrollment students help clean historic Neosho IOOF Cemetery

(From the City of Neosho)

In keeping with the mission of Crowder College, instilling the importance of not only education, but the responsibility of public service, students from Neosho, East Newton, McDonald County, Seneca and Diamond High Schools participating in dual enrollment in the Crowder College Criminal Justice Program chose to spend time in the historic Neosho IOOF Cemetery.

Two crews of students, morning and afternoon, canvassed the entire cemetery twice, gathering and loading nearly six pickup truck loads of limbs, branches, twigs discarded flowers and waste into City of Neosho Parks trucks for disposal. A big thank you from the City of Neosho!!!
