Six Neosho residents, including baby, two other children, injured in Christian County collision

Six Neosho residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision 10:42 p.m. Saturday on U. S. 160, seven miles south of Highlandville.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek driven by Clarissa L. Mace, 18, Springfield, was overtaking a line of traffic and struck a 2014 Dodge 1500 driven by Jorge L. Hernandez Ortega, 35, Neosho. while it was trying to make a left turn.

Ortega and five passengers, Felica Adolphson, 42, Kayla R. Hernandez, 33, two juvenile females age 0 and 2, and a juvenile male, 5, all of Neosho, were treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
