Request for the Public's Assistance
Our Officers are working a hit and run accident that occurred Wednesday morning around 0715AM around the bridge to the south of Kiwanis Park on east 12th Street.
The suspect vehicle continued eastbound after hitting a white Ford passenger vehicle in the driver side doors and left front bumper and fender.
The suspect vehicle description is a Red Pickup, driver was wearing a red baseball cap at the time of the accident. If you were a witness to this accident, we urge you to contact the Baxter Springs Police Department as soon as possible.
