Pineville man flown to Freeman West after crash on I-49

A Pineville man was injured in a two-vehicle collision 4:40 a.m. today on I-49 at the Pineville city limits.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Ford F-150 driven by Fermin C. Delos Santos, 20, Pineville, struck a 1995 Nissan truck driven by Matthew B. Olsen, 23, Gravette, Arkansas, in the rear, then ran off the right side of the road, overturned and ejected DeLos Santos.

DeLosSantos was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with serious injuries.
