Carthage Chamber of Commerce presents awards at annual banquet

Last week the Carthage Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Banquet at the Congregation of the Mother of the Redeemer. The Chamber and other agencies handed out awards that honored individuals and businesses for their contributions to Carthage.
 
Maple Leaf Festival Volunteer of the Year – Brian Chorum
Small Business of the Year – Boomers BBQ, Willy Waggoner
Citizen of the Year – Jackie Boyer
Best Decorated Business Table - Leggett & Platt

Other awards presented by other agencies included:

City of Carthage, Excellence in Industry Award - Schreiber Foods
artCentral Artist of the Year – Alice Lynn Greenwood Mathe’
Vision Carthage – Merre Putnam
ATHENA International – Dr. Carissa Gober

Early Childhood – Third Grade Golden Key Winner – Heather McConnell
Fourth – Sixth Grade Golden Key Winner – Jeni Barlow
Ninth - Twelfth Grade Golden Key Winner – Christy Philpot
