Joplin Fire Department announces promotions

Today we celebrated the promotions of Firefighter Ethan Kennedy and Firefighter Daniel White to the rank of Driver/Engineer.

 
The Driver/Engineer is responsible for their assigned apparatus, getting the crew to and from an incident safely, and the operation of their apparatus on a scene. It’s a difficult training process and a difficult job.
