Today marks the end of an era with the retirement of Dispatch Supervisor Gregg Henry.
Gregg has served for over 34 years for the citizens of Joplin and has always been that calm, cool, and collected voice on the other end of the radio no matter how big or how critical the call. He watched over our officers and firefighters, helped train and guide countless others as they served in our emergency communications center, and fielded thousands upon thousands of calls from citizens over the years.
To say his career was a success and that he will be missed is an understatement.
Congratulations on being able to hang up your headset Gregg! We wish you the very best as you embark on the newest chapter in your life. Take care and may God bless you.
