(From Joplin Little Theatre)Joplin Little Theatre has announced its next production, “Once Upon a Crime” by Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcus.
The production will be directed by Bethany Newsom, with the production being performed by children. Will justice be served in this hilarious fairy-tale courtroom play packed with characters we all know and love?
Goldilocks is the defendant, on trial for breaking and entering. The plaintiffs are, you guessed it, the three bears. Is Goldilocks guilty or innocent? With multiple endings to cover each possible outcome, the audience gets to decide her fate.
Performance dates are Saturday, June 22, 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 23, 2:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets will not be available online.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the Joplin Little T heatre’s office after June 3, at 417-623-3638, during regular office hours, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the theatre during regular office hours.
