06/10/2024 Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of Maple for a disturbance. One person was transported to the Barton County Jail. Paperwork was forwarded to the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney for Assault Domestic 3rd Degree and Resisting Arrest.

06/13/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of E 12th for a theft in progress. Two people were arrested for stealing under $750; they were transported to the Barton County Jail to be booked and released. Another person was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant and transported to the Barton County Jail.

 
06/14/2024 Officer took a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 700 block of Poplar St. Investigation continues.

06/14/2024 Officer was called to Walmart for a report of stealing under $750. Investigation continues.

06/14/2024 Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Maple in reference to a past tense bicycle theft. Investigation continues.

06/14/2024 Officers were dispatched to the alley behind the 700 block of Broadway. A truck had torn off the front of a garage, hit and moved a storage shed, ran into a chain link fence and struck a telephone pole and the under-ground cable box next to the pole. Driver was arrested for DWI and transported to the Barton County Jail.
