Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 5:20 p.m. Monday on I-49 two and a half miles north of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Ford Expedition driven by William W. Miller, 46, Pawnee, Kansas, struck the towed unit of a 2018 Ram 3500 driven by Christina A. Morgan, 43, Hico, Texas.
The Miller vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a fence.
Miller was treated for moderate injuries and Morgan and a passenger in her vehicle, Brian C. Adams, 25, Hico, for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
