(From the Joplin Police Department)The Joplin Police Department is proud to recognize 5 of our officers as they graduated from the 158th MSSU Law Enforcement Academy. They are Officer Jonathan Tabor, Officer Zachery Cox, Officer Travis Peck, Officer Lindsey Weaver, and Officer Jordan Dingman.
Their graduation from the a Police Officer Trainee at the MSSU Academy to a Police Officer at the Joplin Police Department was solidified this morning as they were sworn in and took their oath of office.
These officers will now undergo in-house academy training at the Joplin Police Department for 9-weeks, followed by a 16-week field training program.
Please join us as we congratulate these officers on their accomplishments and welcome them as members of the JPD family. We look forward to them successfully completing their training requirements and going out to serve the community as representatives of our agency.
