Neosho Christmas Parade set for Saturday

This Saturday, December 7th, the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Christmas Parade, presented in partnership with Specialty Risk Insurance, in the beautiful Downtown area. The parade will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will have up to 100 entries. 

The parade will have a theme this year of “Holly Jolly Movie Magic” and award winners will be announced on the Chamber’s Facebook page following the conclusion of the parade. This year’s parade will also be livestreamed by KNEO Radio and shared on the Chamber’s Facebook page.

The typical parade route will be followed, From College Street, go east on Spring Street to the Square, turn right on Wood Street onto the Square, continue off the Square to Hickory Street, turning left in front of the Post Office, go one block to Washington Street, turn left and continue on Washington back on to the Square and off the northeast corner. Parade ends at Washington and Brook St. There will be no parking along the parade route, which includes the Downtown Neosho Square. There will be 20 handicap parking spaces available on the inside of the east side of the Square. They will be first come, first serve and attendees must arrive prior to 4:30 p.m. Please check in and enter from Main St. by City Hall. You must stay for the duration of the parade.
