Coach Kilgore joins Joplin Schools from Lamar High School, where he currently serves as the head baseball coach and assistant football coach alongside a position as a strength and conditioning teacher. In addition to coaching, he will teach physical education classes at Joplin High School.
“I’m incredibly honored and excited to join the Joplin community as the head baseball coach at Joplin High School,” said Kilgore.
“This is a program with a proud tradition, and I’m committed to not only developing talented ballplayers but also helping shape young men of character and substance. I look forward to getting involved with our youth programs and building strong relationships throughout the community.
"Our goal is simple: to continue a standard of excellence that makes our kids—and the entire city of Joplin—proud to wear the name across their chest.”
