MSSU construction projects, new programs topics on Newsmakers program

An exact replica of a human heart and vertebrae are examples of what is possible at the Missouri 3D Printing Center for Precision Health. The center is just one new program being offered at Missouri Southern State University that will be featured on the upcoming Newsmakers program.
 
MSSU President Dr. Dean Van Galen discusses new master’s degree offerings including the Master of Business Administration. He gives a progress report on construction of the Roy Blunt Health Science Innovation Center and shares the focus of the upcoming international themed semester.








Dr. Crystal Lemmons joins the president in discussing the impact of the new 3D Printing Center for Precision Health funded in part with a Science to Jobs grant from the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development. The 3D Printing Center was the focus of a MOSO Connect tour which is shown in a video feature. Athletics Director Rob Mallory shares information about the two phases of renovations at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.

Newsmakers is airing nightly at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. beginning June 15 on KGCS-TV and will air at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21 on KOAM-TV. It is also posted on the station’s YouTube channel: KGCS – Missouri Southern State University.

KGCS-TV programming can be seen on channel 21 and is also available on regional cable television systems such as Sparklight, Mediacom and Optimum Internet. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
