Two Joplin residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 3:29 p.m. today on I-44 four miles east of Mount Vernon.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr driven by a 20-year-old Joplin man blew a tire, ran off the roadway and overturned.
The driver and a passenger, a 20-year-old Joplin man, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
