Lane closure planned on Route H north of Boulder City

MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Newton County Route H Lane Closure North of Boulder City
Beginning Wednesday, July 15, For Culvert Replacement Work

Where: Newton County Route H Lane Closure between Palm Road and just north of Newton County Route D, north of Boulder City

When: Beginning Wednesday, July 15, for up to 90 days

What: Contractor crews are replacing a culvert underneath an entrance just off Route H. This project also includes removing an existing culvert on Newton County Route NN, which will begin at a later date. A news release will be issued as the start date approaches.

Traffic Impacts

Newton County Route H Lane Closure between Palm Road and just north of Newton County Route D, north of Boulder City

Traffic will be controlled by temporary signals alternating traffic through the work zone

Drivers urged to find alternate routes

No signed detours planned

Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
