Highway Patrol arrests Neosho man on felony drug charge

The Highway Patrol arrested a Neosho man on a felony drug charge 10:55 a.m. today in Lawrence County.

According to the report, Jerico J. Dunaway, Neosho, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance (percocet), possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and for not wearing a seatbelt.

  1. Unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Is there a lawful use? And it's a shame people are still getting busted for marijuana. The Percocet doesn't alarm me, it's a pretty weak pain killer and I would bet that he probably only had one or two since they didn't disclose the amount. But driving without wearing his seatbelt? How irresponsible and careless! Lock him up!
