Teen arrested after search of home across from Joplin High School, drugs, counterfeit money confiscated

On Thursday, February 21 at 1:21 PM, Joplin Detectives and Detectives with the Joplin Police Special Investigative Unit served a search warrant on the residence of 2212 South Grand.

This residence is located across the street from the Joplin High School Campus.

Detectives seized approximately 46 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a rifle and over $600 of counterfeit money. 









Ryan L. Mace-Canterbury, 17, of the residence, was arrested. He is currently being held in the Joplin City Jail with charges being submitted for possession of drug paraphernalia, delivery of a controlled substance near a school and forgery. 

Other charges or arrests are possible, the investigation is on-goin

  1. There are maybe six or seven other minors in that home. I hope family services take action.
