Pennsylvania Ave. bridge from 7th St. to 5th St. closed today as a result of a recent state inspection of this viaduct. Inspection recommended closure for public safety and applies to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
The closure is indefinite. City officials will review various options for the bridge and roadways in this area in the near future.
