Southwest Missouri Democrats Quarterly Breakfast on Saturday, 2/23/19, at 10 AM, inside the Empire Market at 931 E 4th Street, Joplin, Missouri 64801, will feature a rally for ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) ratification in Missouri.
Please join us as we gather signatures, for delivery to our local legislators, to encourage ratification. We will educate on the need for passage of the ERA.
We will have a portrayal of Alice Paul, by Carolyn McGowan, and hear from Paisley Freund, student at Joplin High School, about the need for an Equal Rights Amendment in 2019 and beyond.
Food will be available for purchase by the regular Saturday Empire Market vendor Brooks Farms.
